Darke County Trash to Treasures Community Garage Sale is Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Darke County Fairgrounds in the Coliseum from 8 a.m.-2:00 p.m. so rain or shine, the bargains go on! Admission is $1 to the general public, children 12 and under FREE. Proceeds benefit Brethren Retirement Community’s Eden Alternative Fund.
Don’t have a spot to have a Garage Sale or don’t want to take time off work or go through the trouble of hosting a garage sale at your home? Spaces and tables will be rented for the general public on a first come first served basis.
Have a piece of furniture that you’d like to bring a better price than a garage sale typically brings? Consider putting it in our consignment silent auction arena.
Brethren Retirement Community will have their own booth at this event and will accept donated items that are clean and in good repair, a receipt will be issued for your taxes. Donated items must be received by May 1. Receipts will be issued for tax purposes if needed.
