Scheduled power outages planned for Arcanum

The following notice was provided to Arcanum residents with recent electric bills:

Scheduled power outages

Electric Maintenance work will be done on our substation forcing us to have scheduled electric outages for the following days and times:

Wed. April 22 beginning at 10pm to 6am
Thurs. April 23
Wed. April 29
Thurs. April 30 (same times as 22nd)

We hope to accomplish work in one night, but will have the other dates scheduled in case of inclement weather or other problems that may occur.

If weather would not permit for the work to be done, hydrant flushing may occur on those days. Discoloration of water may occur, please check your water and allow to run for a few minutes before doing laundry.

We apologize for the inconvenience but maintenance repair work must be done
to reduce non-scheduled outages.

Looks like you'll have to break out your old wind-up alarm clocks on the 22nd. And no Leno either.
