Visit BTO at October-Fest (or Oktoberfest?) in the Coliseum at the Darke County Fair grounds Saturday!
Plan to eat lunch there and do some shopping - bring the family - Its a great opportunity to support The Brethren Retirement Community's Resident Aid Fund and its Great Fun!

ReplyDeleteAlso a quick question is BTO a part owner of the site or a major sponsor? It seems they are mentioned pretty much once a week... I mean I understand a blurb here and there, but if the site isn't getting paid for the adverts I think it should start...
BTO is not a co-owner or sponsor of this site. So far, the promotions on this website have been free - with the exception of one paid political ad. At some point, ads will be sold - but as of right now, any individual can submit any type of story or announcement, and it will probably be posted if appropriate for the site and relevant to Darke County. Some are taking advantage of this more than others. I'm a little surprised people aren't submitting stories more. If you want to highlight your organization - or your 8th grade athlete - or whatever, just send an email.
