Downtown update for November (Main Street Greenville)



Hometown Holiday Celebration Weekend, November 19-21, 2009: The air is getting colder the holidays are near. A time for celebration something we all hold dear! Join us for our downtown holiday traditions starting Thursday, November 19 with our storekeepers Holiday Open House and downtown Church Stroll. Be inspired by the reason for the season and embrace the uniqueness of Greenville's culture with the Hometown Holiday Horse Parade on Saturday, November 21. Merriment, aniticipation, and temptation all forge in this Hometown Holiday Weekend. Come celebrate with us!

Holiday Open House: Downtown storekeepers extend their hours until 8 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Look for each merchants uniquely decorated holiday tree in front of their store. Click here for specific retail specials.

Grand Opening, Country Primitive, 417 S. Broadway: Sandy is back on Broadway with her handpainted designs on found objects. Country Primitive offers primitive crafts, candles, and one of a kind creations. Visit Sandy at her Grand Opening during the Holiday Open House for gift ideas, inspiration, and special offers. Special hours until 8 pm. (Regular Hours: Tues.- Thurs. 11-5, Fri. 11-6, Sat. 10-2)

Santa Visits Downtown: Fridays 6-8 pm, Saturdays 2-4 pm. Starting November 27, Broadway Joes, The Palace Building, 537 S. Broadway (Santa visits in December on Dec. 11, 12, 18, 19).

  1. Maybe it's just my twisted mind, but does any one else find it to be a little bit funny that this is a blurb promoting all of the holiday stuff in town, and the "come on out" type of advertising..... and there is a picture of an empty Broadway Avenue?
