The “Green Light Project” is going strong in Greenville.

Gateway Youth has asked everyone to “Glow Green” by turning on their green porch light every evening during November to show support of National Runaway Prevention Month and the youth in our community. Two families that have been “spotted” and awarded large pizzas donated by Marco’s Pizza; they are Debra Houdeshell pictured with Ruth Barga, Gateway Youth Advocate and the Byerly Family.

Council on Rural Services provides education, support, and volunteer services through Gateway Youth Programs, Kids Learning Place™, Head Start, Early Head Start, and HandsOn West Central Ohio in Darke County. You can learn more about Gateway Youth Program and their program opportunities and support of Darke County’s youth by calling 937-548-8002 or checking the Web site at www.councilonruralservices.org.
