Will residents of Darke County use a Free Dog Park?

The Darke County Friends of the Shelter would like to build a Dog Park next to the Animal Shelter on County Home Road. Will the Residents of Darke County use this facility? It would be free. There will be a few rules to follow, but we want to know what you think. Please let us know your opinion and even suggest a few ideas. Thank you! The Friends of the Darke County Animal Shelter

My hubby & I have been saying for years we wish greenville had a dog park. We are there!

Yes! Yes! Yes! I would love to see a dog park in Greenville. We take our dogs to the dog park in Richmond once in a while, but I never look forward to that drive with the dogs in the car. I think our residents would appreciate it. Look at all of the people that walk their dogs at North Park. I think we have an interest in it here.

The park in Richmond (called the Bark Park!) has tunnels for the dogs to run through and doggy water fountains. There are also areas to work on agility practice. The best part about that park is that there is a seperate enclosed area so that little dogs can play away from bigger dogs. Our dogs are 9 lbs and 3 lbs, so it is nice that we don't have to worry about them getting trampled!

Would love to see a dog park !! I have been to Richmonds a couple of times and hate the drive. I think it would be utilized here in Greenville.

I would definitely use a dog park. I don't have a fenced in yard for my dog and I think she would love to play with other dogs. Count me in.
