The sky blue shorts were the key to victory

The Greenville Athletic Boosters had a very successful Golf Outing, Saturday, June 19, at the Greenville Country Club Golf Course. The tournament organizers were John Lockhart, Don Lockhart and Matt Steyer, and their effort was well appreciated. 26 team foursomes played the 18 holes of golf for the benefit of the Athletic Boosters organization, and received sports apparel for the winning teams. The first place team consisted of Ron Holzapfel (Booster Association President), Dusty Nealeigh, Scott Martin and Wes Wirrig.

Second place went to the Drees family: Ron, Carl, Bob and Wes. The third place winner after a tie-break was the team of Susie Riegle (School Superintendent), Ben Studabaker, David Peltz and Tom Schrock.

The Boosters have reorganized and have a team of energetic workers. In addition to President Ron Holzapfel, Vice President is Mike Baker, Jody Lockhart is Secretary, Jonie Drew Treasurer, and Ellen Hetzler is in charge of Publicity. This seventh Annual Golf Open will provide a great start for fund raising going into the 2010-2011 school year.
