No April Fool’s Joke; Local Golfers have the Opportunity to Play NCR South Course

American Red Cross presents, “A Round for Relief”

The American Red Cross is offering six lucky foursomes the chance to play the world-renowned South Course of the NCR Country Club. This new regional fundraiser, “A Round for Relief”, offers golfers the opportunity to experience the beautiful greens, tread the same course and putt the same holes where the 51st PGA Championship was hosted. The event will benefit local American Red Cross chapters including Clark, Darke, Dayton, Mad River, Northern Miami Valley and Wayne/Union. Each $20 ticket enters you in a drawing to play where the professionals have made their careers while supporting disaster relief and preparedness in your own community.

Just as good golfers practice and prepare for their next shot off the tee, the American Red Cross is constantly working to prepare families and businesses for their next local disaster. Whether it is a flood, tornado or ice storm, preparedness and immediate response saves lives. “A Round for Relief” is a unique opportunity to support area Red Cross Chapters as they continue this life-saving work.

One winning foursome will be chosen from each Chapter location, six foursomes in all, to play in “A Round for Relief” on May 25th. The winning foursomes will enjoy a catered lunch, an incredible golfing experience, a delicious dinner, catered by NCR’s culinary expert Chef Mary King and opportunities to win skill prizes.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.aroundforrelief.org or by calling 937.548.1002. The drawing for the winning foursome will be held on May 12th and winners will be notified by phone on May 15th.
