Neal Brady recently spoke to the Fort GreeneVille Chapter, DAR at their April meeting. Mr. Brady gave a program on the Miami and Erie Canals. The Miami and Erie Canal Corridor Association is preserving canals in this part of Ohio. The canals were a big part of Ohio's interstate commerce in the 1800's. They were the first capital improvement project in Ohio.
