4th Annual Photo Competition to be Held September 9 – 11

The Darke County Photography Club will hold its 4th Annual Photography Competition, “A Moment of Time” from September 9 – 11, 2011 at 620 South Broadway, Greenville, Ohio. The club is pleased to announce that there will be over $1000.00 in prize money awarded at the show this year thanks to our sponsors. The Best of Show Ribbon and $100.00 is sponsored by Greenville National Bank. The Ron Swank People’s Choice Ribbon and $75.00 is sponsored by Jeannie’s Pooch Parlor. The Darke County Photo Club Member’s Choice Ribbon and $25.00 is sponsored by the Darke County Photo Club. The Student Best of Show Ribbon and $25.00 is sponsored by The Daily Advocate. Interested photographers may enter up to 5 photographs for $20.00 in the following categories: People, Architecture, Sea/Landscapes, Nature, Domestic Animals, Wildlife, Unclassified, Digitally Enhanced, Photojournalism, and Student. Photographs may be dropped off as follows: Friday, September 9 from 1PM to 6PM or Saturday, September 10 from 9AM to 12 noon. All photographs must be picked up as follows: Saturday, September 10 from 7:30PM to 8:30PM or Sunday, September 11 from 1PM to 3PM.
