Enriching Our Lives - EUM Church

This Fall, EUM Church is hosting several classes that offer enrichment for your spiritual life. Find out how God can work in your life and how He wants you to respond. These classes include:

  • Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted - What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! Interruption is actually God's invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.
  • The Excellent Wife - Who is an excellent wife? What is she like? How can I become an excellent wife? How can my marriage change? "The Excellent Wife" study is for women of any age desiring to become the wife God wants them to be. Come and learn how good marriages can be renewed and broken ones be restored by becoming an excellent wife.
  • Experiencing God - God is inviting you to experience Him in an intimate love relationship through which He reveals to you His will, His ways, and His work. Through the biblical principles in this course, God can teach you how to know when He is speaking to you; recognize His activity around you; adjust your life to Him and His ways; identify what He wants to do through you; and respond to His activity in your life.
  • Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David - Three segments focus on the life of David at different stages of his life: as a young man (by Priscilla Shirer), as a middle-aged man (by Beth Moore), and as a man facing the final third of his life (by Kay Arthur).
  • Can We Talk - Soul-Stirring Conversations with God - As women respond to a variety of biblical passages, prompted by thought-provoking questions, they'll develop a Christ-focused view on important issues and experience a closer walk with their Creator.
  • The Frazzled Female- By sitting at the feet of Jesus and absorbing His teaching, women will be able to deal with essential issues like managing their time, getting along with difficult people, taking time for themselves, and even organizing their lives. It helps participants develop biblical skills to handle stressful situations; grow in their relationship with Jesus; and ultimately experience peace, joy, and a saner lifestyle.
  • Crown Biblical Financial - The most important thing related to managing money is the attitude of your heart. If you have a desire make a head and heart change about your attitude toward money, join us for this 10-week course that will teach you these life-changing skills, as well as the basics of budgeting, debt reduction and planning for the future. The cost is $50 per single or $60 per couple.
  • Effective Stewardship: Doing What Matters Most - Christian stewardship is about more than the money we drop into the collection plate - stewardship is everything we do after we say we believe. In this five session video study, you will learn how to think critically and biblically about the areas of responsibility that have been entrusted to you by God.

Classes begin the week of September 11 at one of EUM’s two Greenville locations: The Downtown Campus at 111 Devor Street and The Worship Center at 1451 Sater Street on the corner of Sater and Sebring-Warner Road. For more information on these or any other classes at EUM Church or to register, go to www.eumchurch.org or call 548-3211 ext 208.
