BAILEY ZECHAR FUNERAL HOME TO SPONSOR “THANKS FOR GIVING BLOOD DRIVE” MONDAY IN VERSAILLES

DARKE COUNTY, OH — (November 16, 2011) Community Blood Center (CBC) “Thanks for Giving” Blood Drive will be held on, Monday, November 21, 2011, at Versailles K of C Hall located at 8440 St. Rt. 47 from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 pm. This blood drive is sponsored by: Bailey Zechar Funeral Home. Bailey Zechar Funeral Home will be offering donors special Thanksgiving refreshments! Hot turkey sandwiches, pie, donuts, and apple cider!

Everyone who registers to donate will receive a Free “Thanks for giving” T-Shirt. This blood drive is open to the community, and appointments are encouraged!

Your help is needed so we can reach our goal of collecting 183 donations!

Please remember that appointments have priority and Walk –Ins are always welcome as the schedule permits. This just means that if you walk in and all appointments are filled at the time you come to the blood drive we will let you know when the next available appointment is and you have the choice to either wait or come back at the time that is available.

Please always allow 45 minutes to 1 hour to get through the entire process, even if you have an appointment.

Photo ID with full name required for registration when donating at any blood drive.

Blood Donation: Donors are required to provide a photo ID that includes their full name. Past CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 years old with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at CBC branch & blood drive locations), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in good physical health. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changes blood donor eligibility guidelines periodically.
