DCSO: Greenville Couple's Truck Rolls Due to Snow Covered Road

On January 19, 2012 at approximately 11:29 AM Darke County Deputies, along with Pitsburg Fire, Arcanum Rescue and Greenville Rescue were dispatch to the 2100 block of St. Rt. 49 south in reference to a one vehicle injury accident.

Preliminary investigation revealed a tan 2002 Chevy Silverado, driven by Bruce E. Miller, 77, Greenville, Ohio was northbound on St. Rt. 49 when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow covered roadway. Miller's vehicle traveled across the centerline, off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch, causing Miller's vehicle to rollover. Miller's vehicle came to rest in a field.

Miller was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Greenville Rescue where he is listed in good condition. Miller's passenger/wife, Carolyn J. Miller, 76, Greenville, Ohio was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Arcanum Rescue where she is in the intensive care unit and listed in good condition.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
