The Bowling League of Greenville recently asked the bowlers to donate money to the local cancer association. The donations were given in memory of Penny Kingrey and in honor of friends and family who have battled cancer or who may one day have to.

The league’s motto was:
“USE YOUR SPARE CHANGE TO HELP STRIKE OUT BREAST CANCER!"

The bowlers gave very generously and recently presented the check to the Cancer Association Director, Christine Yount.

The association is most appreciative of any and all donations to help the victims fight this devastating disease.
The Cancer Association of Darke County is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is overseen by a volunteer board of directors who live locally. It is located at 209 E. Fourth Street in Greenville and partners with United Way. It is not affiliated with the American Cancer Society. Please call 548-9960 with any questions.
