After 11 years, of planing with fund raisers, grants and donations the Darke County Friends of the Shelter has done a amazing job with the opening of "Scentral Park". The grand opening for Scentral Park was held on March 23, 2013. The park has a fence in area for small dogs under 30 pounds and a fenced in area for large dogs 30 pounds and over. Scentral Park provides a safe and secure environment not only for dogs, but also for children and adults.

Hats off to everyone that has made Scentral Park into a reality.
