Search Warrant Leads to Seizure of Drug Related Items

On March 20th, 2013 at approximately 4:14 PM deputies from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office along with detectives from the Greenville Police Department, Agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations and a K-9 Unit from the Preble County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant at 6099 Beamsville-Union City Road in the small community of Beamsville, OH in Darke County.

Items seized during the search of the property were several packages of a green leafy substance (believed to be marijuana), drug paraphernalia, scales and other items that support drug usage and or trafficking. Two adult non-resident males were on the property when the warrant was executed, however no arrests were made. No one was found to be in the residence.

Further details of this investigation may be released at the conclusion of the case or upon filing of criminal charges if approved by the Darke County Prosecuting Attorney.

Investigation continues.
