Woodland Headbangers

Knock! Knock! Thump! We have seven species of woodpeckers we commonly see in Ohio and six of those are likely during the summer months. Join the Darke County Parks on Tuesday, July 29th at 7:00pm at Shawnee Prairie Preserve (4267 State Route 502 West) as we study adaptations of woodpeckers across the world and then delve into those local species. Come learn about our local headbangers and how they can drum all day long without a headache! This program is FREE! For more information on this or other programs offered by the Darke County Parks, call us at 937.548.0165 or visit our website at www.darkecountyparks.org
