Indiana Woman Airlifted After Saturday Evening Crash

On February 28, 2015 at approximately 8:07 PM Darke County Deputies, along with Liberty Twp. fire Dept., Tri-Village Rescue, and Careflight were dispatched to the 900 Block of US Route 36 in reference to an injury accident. The caller reported a vehicle into a pole with entrapment.

Investigation revealed that a 2000 Chrysler Town & Country, driven by Brandy Mills, 37 of Lynn, Indiana, was westbound on US Route 36 when the vehicle drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a utility pole. Ms. Mills had to be extricated from the vehicle by mechanical means. Ms. Mills was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Careflight with non-life threatening injuries.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office
