Partnering for Economic Development in the Tri-County Area!

As I embrace my new role as the Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Edison Community College, I understand how essential it is to work with organizations in Miami, Shelby and Darke counties, to achieve our common goal of economic development through small business start-ups and helping existing companies grow.

The SBDC at Edison, along with 38 State-wide departments, offer comprehensive business management and education services.

Free, confidential, in-depth, one-on-one counseling and no- or low-cost training is available in areas of Business Start-up, Filing Your Entity Status, Writing a Business Plan and many other topics for successful business starts and growth.

We launch our first sessions of training and workshops for entrepreneurs and existing businesses this month and I invite you to help us reach the individuals whom can benefit from these programs.

Please see attachment and distribute or post as related to your organizations policies. If multiple copies are needed, please contact us and we can send as requested.

I sincerely appreciate your help with this request. I will be sending additional program announcements in the future unless you notify me to remove you from our contact list.

Thank you for your time and consideration of our request.
