Reward Offered for Information about Bald Eagle Shot in Preble County

Xenia, OH - The ODNR Division of Wildlife is asking the public for information about the shooting of a bald eagle in Preble County. The incident occurred around Saturday, Feb. 21. The bird was found northeast of Eaton. A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspected poachers.

Bald and golden eagles are protected under federal law by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
