Teen Suffers Serious Injuries After Rolling Car and Walking to Get Help

On May 3, 2015 at 4:58 AM Darke County deputies along with Tri-Village rescue and New Madison fire department responded to a rollover injury accident in the 4000 block of State Route 121.

When deputies arrived they found a 2002 silver Hyundai Sonata was traveling south on SR 121 and failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway into a field and overturned multiple times. The 2002 Hyundai Sonata came to rest approximately 100 feet into the field. The driver of the accident was a 17-year-old male from Greenville, Ohio who had walked to a nearby residents to call 911.

The 17-year-old male was transported to Wayne hospital emergency room by Tri-Village rescue with serious injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
