Friends of the Greenville Public Library Children’s Book Sale

Dede Wissman is pictured in a closet filled with children's picture books that will be sold by donation at Greenville Public Library on Friday and Saturday, August 14-15.
Children will enjoy choosing some old favorites and trying some new adventures at the Friends of the Greenville Public Library Children’s Book Sale during Library hours, Friday, August 14 and Saturday, August 15. These treasures are available for donation with the suggested minimum being a quarter.

While waiting for their children to make selections, adults can browse among the great collection of cookbooks that is also being offered.

The sale will include children’s picture books, juvenile chapter books, juvenile fiction and non-fiction and young adult fiction. FOL’s second floor Used Book Sale has an abundance of these books as well as books on tape and DVDs, many appropriate for home schooling, in addition to many adult books, CDs and DVDs.

Besides the ongoing Library second floor sale, FOL plans several small sales such as this one when it has an abundance of books, either from the Library or from private donations of good books, CDs and DVDs. Library discards making space for new material helps FOL maintain the good quality of offerings so it can continue to provide programs and support for our beautiful Greenville Public Library.

For information about the sale or about donating good used books to the FOL, call Jan at 937.548.1916.
