Duo Arrested for String of 2012 Greenville Robberies

On October 25, 2012, November 1, 2012, and November 13, 2012, the Greenville Police Dept. investigated three armed robberies that occurred at the Flower Patch, the former Parkside Beverage Dock, and the Fairgrounds Drive-thru. In each case, a handgun was brandished and the clerks were tied up.

Through a recent break in the case, Detectives developed two suspects. On September 1, 2015, the suspects were interviewed and admitted to the crimes. Arrested were 29 year old Heath A. Gessler of Greenville, OH and 23 year old Evan L. Bowman also from Greenville, OH.

Both suspects were taken to the Darke County Jail and booked on one count each of Complicity to Commit Aggravated Robbery and Complicity to Kidnapping, both Felonies of the 1st degree. Additional charges will be sought in the September Grand Jury.
