Full Harvest Moon Hike at DCP

Autumn offers some of the absolute best hiking in Darke County. The bugs are nearly gone, humidity is a memory, the landscape is full of fantastic colors, and the crunch of leaves underfoot pleases the soul every step of the way! On October 26th at 7pm join a naturalist at Turkeyfoot Preserve at 40113 Bishop Road south of Greenville for the Full Harvest Moon Hike. Take in the beauty of a fall evening at sunset and maybe see some animals moving about and beginning their night. Flashlights are not required but may be useful. Remember to dress for the weather.

For more information about this hike or any of the other programs offered by Darke County Parks, visit the Nature Center west of Greenville on St. Rt. 502 or call the office at (937) 548-0165.
