Holiday Shopping Bus Trip

Mark your calendars now for a fun filled Holiday Shopping Bus Trip sponsored by Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Eta Iota Chapter of Parker City, Indiana!

The Holiday Shopping Bus Trip will take place on Saturday November 7, 2015 from 6:30am to 10:45pm with the trip originating and ending at Monroe Central High School, located on State Road 32 East of Parker City, Indiana. The deluxe Star of America Touring Coach with reclining seats and onboard restrooms will be providing the transportation. A round-trip ticket is just $50.00 per person. A light breakfast of muffins and juice will be provided as well as snacks and beverages during the return trip. There will be entertaining activities and games on board, and a goodie bag for each traveler. Just sit back and enjoy the ride to a day of fun-filled activities!

We have two alternatives for our fabulous bus trip this year. Our “Shop All Day” destination is the Easton Town Center Mall in Columbus, Ohio, with over 174 shops to explore and dozens of restaurants. Bring your holiday gift list along with your best shopping buddies to shop till you drop! The buses will meet the travelers twice during the day for package pickups from the Mall. Or if you prefer you can opt for our second option.

The second option is a half day of family fun at COSI, the Center of Science and Industry. COSI has classic science discovery exhibits as well as special traveling exhibits including the Lego Travel Adventure, and the Adventures in the Valley of the Unknown. There is also the National Geographic Extreme Screen Theatre with mysteries of the deep seas at COSI. After your adventures at COSI, you can then join us at the Easton for shopping and dining. COSI admission and attractions are not included in the bus ticket and should be purchased online prior to travel at www.cosi.org

Whichever option you select, we are sure you will enjoy the many things to see and do!

Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the charitable projects of Psi Iota Xi, Eta Iota, including Scholarship Award opportunities for college bound seniors, fulfillment of funding requests from area school music, art, speech and hearing projects and the Parker City Memorial Library, a free lending library provided and staffed by the sorority as a community service to the residence of Parker City and Monroe and Stoney Creek Township.
