On Friday, October 30th, employees at Weaver Bros., Inc. in Versailles participated in “I Got My Pink On” day. This day was designated as a day to wear pink to support early detection breast cancer awareness. Earlier in the week, all female employees received a breast cancer awareness goodie bag, which included breast cancer related educational pamphlets. Our employees and their health are important to the success of the business. Janean Campbell, HR representative for Weaver Bros., Inc. said, “I was quite please by number of employees who chose to participate”. All participants were entered in a drawing to win one of five $20 Walmart gift cards.
Weaver Bros., Inc. has several facility locations in Versailles as well as a location in West Mansfield, Ohio, with participants at all locations. Weaver Bros., Inc. would like to thank those who participated in the “I Got My Pink On” day. Weaver Bros., Inc. and its employees would also like to thank Wayne Hospital, The Pink Ribbon Girls, Breast Cancer Awareness of Darke County and the James Cancer Hospital at OSU for providing breast cancer related information for the goodie bags. With their help, additional education and awareness was made possible.
