On December 4, 2015 at approximately 3:20pm Darke County Deputies along with North Star Fire and Ansonia Rescue were dispatched to Greenville St. Mary's Road just south of Wabash York Road on a report of a one vehicle roll-over injury accident.
Preliminary investigation revealed a black 2003 Ford Taurus, driven by Samuel Barga, 16 of Rossburg, and brother front seat passenger age 14 was traveling Northbound on Greenville St. Mary's Road and passed a vehicle in front of them and then failed to negotiate a curve losing control of the vehicle and traveling off the left side of the roadway and rolling several times in a field. Samuel was transported to the CareFlight landing zone at the Darke County Sheriff's Office and flown to Miami Valley Hospital for his injuries, and his brother was treated and released at the scene. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
