WWII Books on Sale to Benefit The Friends of the Greenville Library

Don Boyer is studying a WW II painting by Norman Rockwell of returning war heroes.  Friends of the Greenville Public Library will offer for sale an extensive WW II collection for donation only.
WW II memorabilia collectors will want to see the array of WW II books on sale at the Greenville Public Library, Friday and Saturday, during Library hours on December 11 and 12.

The collection is on sale for donations only by the Friends of the Greenville Public Library and will help the organization with its goal of being a supportive arm of the Library.

The donation proceeds from this sale and the sale of books, DVDs, CDs and books on tape on the second floor of the Library help fund Library needs beyond its budget. In this past year, the Friends of the Greenville Public Library have funded the summer family reading/activities programs as well as mobile microphones for the children’s library. These microphones have made puppet shows for the children much easier to produce.

For more information about the WW II collection, or for information about FOL membership and activities, call Dede at 937.467.3889.
