VERSAILLES HEALTH CARE CENTER OFFERS CHAIR EXERCISE CLASSES IN AREA COMMUNITIES

Rebecca Detling, Director of Business Development, leads exercise class at the New Bremen Senior Center.
Versailles Health Care Center, a leader in skilled nursing and rehabilitation, is giving back to the communities of Russia, Fort Loramie, New Bremen, and West Milton, by leading monthly chair exercise classes at senior groups within those communities. The classes are led by Rebecca Detling, the Director of Business Development at Versailles Health Care Center, who is a former physical therapist.

Participants have experienced a reduction in aches and pains, greater energy, and improved mobility. These group exercise sessions are fun and appropriate for nearly every ability level as all exercises can be modified to suit the needs of each individual. In addition, the group setting promotes social interaction and can boost feelings of well-being.

“We strive to promote long and healthy lifestyles for seniors in our local communities,” said Detling. “Versailles Health Care Center enjoys partnering with local communities to provide socialization, exercise and education to their community members. We would love to get involved in promoting wellness in other surrounding communities. If you are interested, please give me a call.”
