Darke County Retired Teachers Association to Hold September Meeting

DCRTA will meet on Thursday, Sept. 15, 11:30 a.m., in the Brick Room at Brethren Retirement Community, 750 Chestnut St., Greenville, OH. The luncheon menu will consist of baked steak with gravy, broccoli casserole, scalloped potatoes, pasta salad, rolls, assorted desserts and drinks. Cost of the meal, catered by Nancy Isch Custom Cakes & Catering, is $8.00. The program will begin with Kelly Fleiman giving a short presentation on the 'back-pack program', followed by Darlene Ruzicka, Immediate Past President of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association, speaking about "Changes at ORTA". Dues collection for 2017 will begin at the Sept. meeting. DCRTA dues are $7.00 ($3.00 if 85 yrs. or older), and ORTA dues are $30.00. Both may be paid at this meeting.
