State of the Heart Care Schedules Annual Holiday Remembrance Gathering

A tradition continues this year when State of the Heart Care will hold their annual Remembrance Gathering in Greenville, OH. The event is for those who have lost a loved one and want to remember them in a special ceremony which will be held Sunday, November 6th at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, OH.

The remembrance gathering is for anyone who has lost a loved one; a person need not have had any connection with hospice care. The ceremony is special in that it draws so many people together who have a common bond: they are together and they are remembering a loved one. During the gathering ceremony there will be special music, scripture readings, and words of sharing. Staff, friends, and family members will also remember their loved one by lighting a candle in their honor. The Remembrance Gathering is a wonderful way to remember a loved one, particularly at the holiday time when a person typically reminisces about times gone by. It is also a time to acknowledge how much they miss that person.

State of the Heart Care, with offices in Greenville, Coldwater and Portland, cares for patients and families in eastern Indiana and western Ohio who are confronting a life limiting illness.
