VHCC TEAM WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S

L to R: Versailles Health Care Center team members,
Stacy Grisez, Tayler Crawford, and Christina Louk.
Versailles Health Care Center team members participated in last weekend’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s event in Greenville, Ohio. One team member, Stacy Grisez, a State-Tested Nursing Assistant, said with a smile, “It felt so good to walk for such an important cause. I walked to show support for those affected by the disease, especially my grandma, who suffers from Alzheimer’s.”

Versailles Health Care Center staff members also participated in Casual for a Cause by paying $1 to dress casual every Wednesday during the months of August and September. In September, staff held a bake sale to raise funds to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Finally, Versailles Health Care Center raffled off a fire pit to raise money for the cause. The winner of the fire pit was Connie Apple of Versailles!

Kristy Earick, CEO/Administrator of Versailles Health Care Center, thanked staff and community members for their efforts to raise money. “I’m pleased to announce that VHCC raised $400 for the Alzheimer’s Association. Thank you for caring enough to make a difference!”
