New Felting Workshop at the Art Center

New Felting Workshop at the Art Center
Mark your calendars! Preble County Art Association has an amazing workshop coming up. Carrie Davis from Blessed Criations Alpaca Ranch, located in south west Preble County is coming to the art center! She'll teach a felting workshop where participants will use alpaca wool to create beautiful and functional pieces.

This textiles workshop will introduce two forms of felting. Participants will use a wet felting technique to create a felted bar of soap. This is both beautiful and functional, the felting makes a great exfoliator as you wash. They will also learn a needle felting technique to decorate dryer balls. These are great for creating fresh smelling laundry if you add a drop of essential oil to the felt ball before dropping it in the dryer.

This two hour workshop is on Saturday, March 25th from 11am to 1pm. The cost for this workshop is $20 for members and $30 for nonmembers. All materials are included.

Registration can be done online at www.preblearts.org or in person at the Visual Art Center. Payment must be made at time of reservation. Space is limited and registration will close Thursday, March 23. The PCAA is located at 601 Hillcrest Dr. in Eaton, Ohio. Call us at 937-456-3999. The PCAA is a not for profit arts organization dedicated to enriching lives with art and culture.
