Darke County Special Olympics Thanks Second National Bank


At last year’s Darke County Special Olympics Track and Field Event, Brian Wagner representing Second National Bank served as an Awards Presenter. Tanner Bey from Versailles H.S. was a volunteer helper. This year’s Annual Track and Field Event will be held on Friday, May 12 (inclement weather day is Monday, May 15) at Harmon Field in Greenville. Special athletes from all Darke County schools will be participating. The 2016 program served over 320 athletes competing at the local, area, and state levels in basketball, cheerleading, bowling, powerlifting, softball, soccer, Unified golf, swimming, and track & field.

Darke Co. Special Olympics is directed, coached, and chaperoned by volunteers giving of their time. Special thanks to Second National Bank for their donation and support of the program.
