On July 14, 2017 at 11:47 AM Darke County Deputies along with Arcanum Rescue and Gettysburg Fire Dept. responded to a two vehicle, injury accident at the intersection of State Route 571 and Arcanum Bears Mill Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2014 Chevy Equinox, driven by James Neitzelt, 68, of Arcanum, was traveling southbound on Arcanum Bears Mill Road when he failed to yield at the intersection and drove into the path of a 2004 Jeep Liberty, driven by Sandra Goff, 60, of Greenville, which was traveling eastbound on State Route 571. Both vehicles came to rest along the roadway.
Kerby Goff, 64, of Greenville, who was a front seat passenger in Mrs. Goff's vehicle, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Arcanum Rescue with non-life threatening injuries.
