Darke County Aviation Day Returns September 9th

The Darke County Commissioners are sponsoring the 2nd Annual Aviation Day at the Darke County Airport on Saturday, September 9th, 2017. The event will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Darke County Airport, 9724 State Route 121, Versailles, Ohio 45380.

A Free, Fun Event for everyone.

Aviation Day is where locals from Darke and surrounding counties come together to learn about Aviation, and the Airports within.

A Hot Dog Cart will be at the Airport for Lunch & Refreshments.

Free EAA Young Eagle Flights
(Ages 8-17)

Education Provided by:
Richard Borgerding, private pilot.
Seth Timmerman, Private Pilot/ Airport Operations Manager
Civil Air Patrol, Search & Rescue
With many others throughout the event.

Aircraft on Display:
Experimental and Ultralight aircraft.
Darke County Airport Tenants will have their airplanes on display and stories to share.
Midmark Corporation’s corporate jet.
Civil Air Patrol Aircraft
All others that will Fly-in.
Along with Collegiate Universities Aircraft.

Parking & Security for this event will be provided by local volunteers.

The goal of the event is to provide insightful information of Aerospace opportunities, Aircraft and Airports within our communities, we invite guests of all ages.
