Ladybug Christmas Community Beautification Awards


The Ladybug Garden Club presented their Christmas Community Beautification Award to Bill and Lisa Toomey and to Crowell Lawn Service for outstanding achievement in design and maintenance of residential and commercial property in Christmas decorating.

 Bill and Lisa moved into their home located at Honeysuckle and Holly Hill Drive in August and arranged an outstanding synchronized display of Christmas lights and scenes to the radio. Bill was stationed at Camp Lejeune before his family moved back to Darke County. They had Christmas displays while in the Carolinas. Shown are daughter Brina, Bill, and Lisa Toomey with Ladybug Beautification members Angela Beumer and Sherri Jones.

Justin Crowell, principal owner of Crowell Lawn Service on Edison Road in Greenville, has accented the fence with roping, wreaths and lights to add a festive touch to their new building plus added a Christmas tree with lighted deer on the lawn. Crowell’s is a local provider of lawn maintenance and snow removal.
