Poultry Days at the Museum

Our doors will be open, and we will welcome you to the Versailles Area Museum during the Poultry Day’s Festival. Our special hours are 3:00 to 7:00 on Friday, from 1:00 till 6:00 on Saturday, and Sunday from noon till 6:00 p.m.

Also, our porch is just like Grandma’s and ready for sitting in the shade and watching people go by. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs and come sit a spell with us!

New displays and freshened up displays dot the museum for you to enjoy. “Gus’s” will be driving out right after Poultry Day’s to make room for “The Great Outdoors”. (By the way we are still looking for early bathing suits and pictures of outdoor activities. If you can help us out, we’d sure appreciate it!)

Poultry Days Treat for Museum Guests

On Saturday afternoon of Poultry Day’s, the museum is excited to announce a reunion of sorts for our local band, Bushwack. This energetic group is celebrating Forty Years plus years of music, rocking out tunes we all remember and love.

To celebrate the group has produced a new single that they have recorded and will play the recording publicly for the first time at 2:30 p.m. The song is entitled; “Strolling Through My Life’s Memories” and is written by John Subler.

You are invited to come and have a listen and hopefully will be able to purchase your own copy!

Come join us as we remember fondly those open air and old gymnasiums where we danced the night away as the guys sang (we thought) just for us.

This will give you a chance to reminisce about your “good olĂ© days” and see your friends.

Bushwack also has a featured display of their musical year in the museum for you to enjoy.

We’ll be looking forward to seeing you at the Museum!
