The shuttle service operated by Greenville Transit System was a success again for this year. The shuttle/and regular routes delivered over 1821 riders to the Darke County Fairgrounds.
One thing that was up this year was the number of people using the “regular” transit to get to the fair. Anyone who rode the transit and donated a non perishable food item rode the transit for only 50 cents (regular fair cost was 75 cents).
The GTS drivers collected 3 big boxes of items. We would like to thank everyone who used the shuttle and who also donated to the food drive. GTS is funded in part by ODOT, Grants, rider fares and the City of Greenville.
