A few vacancies are still available for this Saturday's herb workshop in the log house at Shawnee Prairie Preserve.
We plan to have a cozy fire in the fireplace and we will have folders of information plus seed sharing, herb samples and door prizes.

The Olde Thyme Gardeners of the Darke County Parks present "Fresh Herbs for the Winter" Saturday, October 15, 2011 in the log house beside our heirloom garden, 4267 State Route 502. Park in front of the Nature Center, then walk a couple hundred yards on mostly hard surface past the heirloom garden to the authentic 1820's log house.
There will be two separate sessions. Register for either one or $10 each or both for a total of $20.
A.M. Session 9:00-11:30 $10.00. Limit of 15 participants
Charlie Cressel, organic master gardener and produce farmer, on over-wintering herbs -plus a Hands-on Project.
P.M. Session 1:00 - 3:45 $10 Limit of 15 participants
