Did you see the Beginning of the Lunar Eclipse this Weekend?

While many us us were still tucked warmly in bed, Darke Journal reader Doug Cook was out to witness and capture the total lunar eclipse that occurred Saturday morning. While it seems most of the event was more easily seen in the western portions of the US, Doug was able to capture the image below of the early phases of the event, in which the moon turns to a crimson red while falling into the horizon, and then shared it on our Facebook wall.
