On April 19, 2013 at approximately 2:05 pm Darke County Deputies along with Gettysburg Fire, Arcanum Rescue, and Greenville Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 571 and Arcanum Bears Mill Road in reference to a two vehicle injury accident. Preliminary investigation revealed a silver 2000 Lincoln Sedan driven by Clinton Randall, 39, of Greenville was southbound on Arcanum Bears Mill Road when he failed to yield to an eastbound vehicle. A 16 year old male driving a Ford F250 struck Mr. Randall’s vehicle in the passenger side. Mr. Randall was extricated from his vehicle by Gettysburg Fire and transported to Miami Valley Hospital by CareFlight. The 16 year old male was transported to Wayne Hospital by Arcanum Rescue with minor injuries. At this time Mr. Randall’s condition is unknown.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
