Executive, Life & Career Coach to Speak at Power Over Parkinson’s Group, Wednesday, May 14, 4 pm

Versailles Health Care Center is pleased to invite the community to its monthly event for people with Parkinson’s Disease and their families! Power Over Parkinson’s meets monthly to exercise, socialize, and learn. The guest speaker for the evening will be Christy Shell, M.ED. Shell is the owner of Team Ascent Consulting and Zeal Coaching for Life and Career. She has had more than 100 opportunities to work with the finest regional and international companies, such as Ford Company, Proctor and Gamble, Crown Equipment, Inc., Lexis-Nexis, Veyance Technology, Alcoa Engineering, Inc., Convergys, Kindred Hospital, the Cincinnati Police Department and many others. Shell earned her Bachelors of Science from Indiana University and Masters in Human Resource Development from Xaxier University as well as three certifications in career, life and executive coaching and six certifications in personality and leadership assessments. She enjoys getting that rush from every time a client realizes that they have the key to drive their lives to their desired destinations. “Every day, I get to live and love the paradox of wife, mother, and adventurer, all the while living that mission of assisting individuals and organizations in realizing their potential, uncovering ways to achieve it, and getting it done,” said Shell.

The Power Over Parkinson’s session will be led by Shannon Condon, Speech Therapist, and Gina Boerger, Physical Therapist. They will lead the group in vocal and physical exercise. Shannon and Gina hope to offer positive resources to people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. The Power Over Parkinson’s group will take place Wednesday, May 14 at 4 pm. It will be held at The Rehab Clinic at Versailles Health Care Center. This is a FREE meeting. Light snacks and beverages will be provided. There will also be a door prize giveaway, good for a free entrĂ©e, compliments of Michael Anthony’s at the Inn.
