On July 22,2014, the Greenville Police Department, with the assistance of the Darke County Sheriff's Office, has taken one person into custody regarding a rash (current count is 7) of vehicle fires and at least 12 thefts from vehicles which occurred in the early morning hours of July 22,2014. The person arrested is being transported to the Mercer County Jail at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
Pending charges will be filed with the Darke County Prosecutor's Office.
