When I hear people make comments like you make, I am reminded of the statistics that show the "red" states taking more out of the federal government than they pay in taxes and the "blue" states paying in more than they take out. In other words, the red states are the "moochers" as you like to call them. I assure you that I am in the private sector and, the odds are, I am propping up people like you and giving you a job. You're welcome. PS You should send a thank you to Massachusetts and the liberal states for subsidizing all the federal tax dollars you receive. On behalf of them, you're welcome for that, too. Just like the majority of idiots who weren't educated & high as a kite in the 60's when civil rights legislation was PASSED, those then felt blacks should not be equal & a few years later blacks should not marry whites, etc. Once people started to become educated (or most anyways,) beliefs started to change & people started to relax & breath once again realizing the sky wasn't falling just as today! He said he would go to Costa Rica to get healthcare services. This is based on his expectation that enterprising physicians will leave the U.S. and setup private hospitals and clinics where those who can afford it can pay cash.

-Rush didn't go to Hawaii for their "free universal healthcare" when he experienced chest pain. He was already in Hawaii on vacation, and paid for his care. It wasn’t free.

Like I said, I'm not really a Rush fan, but I can't help notice the hypocrisy of people here. Those on both sides would be well served to do a little research instead of simply repeating spin.Josh Fnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4305308739784844668.post-8862457071781071132010-03-23T10:36:40.262-04:002010-03-23T10:36:40.262-04:00Here are a few:

Even if it remains in effect, people will realize that it's cheaper to pay $750/yr than pay for insurance. Since the insurance companies can no longer deny based on pre-existing conditions, if someone becomes ill they can go out and get a policy and be covered. How long do you think the home owner's insurance industry would last if people could buy a policy after their house burned down?

-The CBO estimates it will cost the IRS $10 billion to enforce multiple areas of the bill. No such money has been allocated to them. The bill is more expensive than it seems. It makes me wonder just how many other hidden expenses exist.

-New taxes: high-cost insurance, indoor tanning (probably more taxes)

-The bill does not close the Medicare prescription drug doughnut hole. The dems have lied and says it does, but it's actually language in the Recon act that does this. There is no guarantee of the language staying in or the act passing.Josh Fnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4305308739784844668.post-65439401922620507782010-03-23T09:59:36.272-04:002010-03-23T09:59:36.272-04:00Anonymous @8:15...Is there something in the bill ...Anonymous @8:15...Is there something in the bill you know for a fact (not something you have been told by Obama and his followers)is good?

Anonymous @7:59...I am sure Rush will leave the country on the same plane as Barbara Streisand and Julia Roberts, as they have promised to leave on several occassions...They're still here.Gregnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4305308739784844668.post-14522171313647037172010-03-23T08:15:25.029-04:002010-03-23T08:15:25.029-04:00Dear Boner followers, Republican cheerleaders, Ruc...Dear Boner followers, Republican cheerleaders, Ruch followers, and others who cannot think for themselves.
Is there something in the bill that you know for a fact (not something you have been told by the above) is bad?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4305308739784844668.post-16993168644664999902010-03-23T07:01:21.181-04:002010-03-23T07:01:21.181-04:00After reading the comments posted here today, I wo...After reading the comments posted here today, I would say if the Health Reform bills was endorsed by the Republican Party it would be the most wonderful thing that ever happened.
