| Governor John Kasich and Agriculture Director (former Darke Co. state rep) Jim Zehringer attended the opening of the Ohio State Fair on July 27. Kasich and Zehringer presented awards for "Ag is Cool," a visual arts contest for Ohio school children. Zehringer said, "This was the first year the Department of Agriculture hosted this contest, and we were so impressed by the quality of entries we received that we hope to make this a new tradition." |
