Arcanum Historical Society's Annual Christmas Bazaar with Low, Affordable Prices

Saturday, November 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society will open their doors for the annual Christmas Bazaar with the lowest prices of the Christmas season. The list of featured items is long and tempting for Christmas shopping and decorating.

Returning again this year will be Grandma’s Kitchen. Grandma has added the famous frozen soups from the Farmer’s Market menu with the famous “ Arcanum Cheeseburger Soup” plus other soups are ham and beans, chicken corn chowder, white chicken chili, and sausage corn chowder. Other specialty items will include Sweet and Sour Spicy Mustard, Meatballs made with Grandma’s secret ingredient and home ice cream toppings available in Hot Fudge and Peanut Butter. A large selection of Grandma’s delicious pies, cakes, cookies will be found in her bakery.

Inside the bazaar, look for a forest of decorated and lighted Christmas trees in various heights and themes, large to small sizes of decorated pine wreaths, swags and garlands and beautiful centerpieces.

New items added to the bazaar are decorated wooden yard snowmen dressed with scarves and top hats, and primitive designed decorator birdhouses.

The specialty areas located throughout the bazaar are Winter Wonderland with snowflakes, snowmen, trees, reindeers and sleights; Santa Land with many Santa’s, Mrs. Santa’s and Elves; Christmas in the Village with building and village accessories, Buckeye Shoppe, Kid’s Korner, Garden Nook and a Little Boutique with scarves, hats, jewelry, and clothing.

All bazaar attendees’ names will be entered into a door prize drawing at no cost for a Christmas cookie jar filled with cookies from Grandma’s Kitchen. A 50-50 raffle for a $5.00 donation will be held. Tickets may be purchased in advanced from any historical society member or the day of the bazaar as well. Prizes of 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded. An In-House raffle for a $1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00 will be happening the day of the bazaar. Win a decorated wreath, Father Christmas, Basket of Goodies from Grandma’s Kitchen, decorated Christmas tree, or a floral centerpiece donated from the Rose Post.

The Historical Society will reopen the bazaar from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. during the 2nd annual Christmas Walk in Arcanum. All raffle winners will be drawn at 9:00 P.M. Winners need not be present, winners will be notified.
