DDN: Midmark Expanding, Opening New Office at Dayton's Tech Town

The Dayton Daily News has a story on Midmark's announced expansion that was detailed to employees today. Locally, Midmark announced an initiative to add 100,000 square feet to the existing manufacturing locations in Versailles to position them for growth and increased demand. For this expansion to happen, $2.6 million was secured in incentives by Midmark and Darke County's Partnering for Progress programs as well as incentives from Versailles.

Although the company's headquarters are to remain in Versailles, they also announced the impending opening of a new office in Dayton's Tech Town, a business park who's goal is to utilize a combination of resources from local companies, universities and government agencies to fertilize growth and development of technology based businesses.

DDN states that 57 employees will locate to the new office, although none of them are slated to be new positions.
