Edison brings Nashville Crush to campus

Nashville Crush to perform at Edison Community College April 26.
Edison Community College will come alive with the sounds of country music band, Nashville Crush. The group will bring their fun and energetic show to the Piqua campus gymnasium on Saturday, April 26. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last 90 minutes.

Admission to the show is free and donations collected throughout the evening will benefit Miami County Relay for Life.

“Cancer affects everyone,” said Amber Selhorst, Coordinator of Student Success and Student Life. “Participating in Relay for Life is our opportunity to show that we are stronger than cancer and that we are willing to fight. By bringing Nashville Crush to campus we’re hoping to provide a fun way for the community to get involved.”

For the past five years, Nashville Crush has been performing extensively throughout the region. The seven-member band from Lima, Ohio, presents a perfect balance of country and rock music. Their talent coupled with a high energy and award winning stage presence is sure to please concertgoers.

Edison Community College remains committed to bringing quality entertainment to campus throughout the year. The concert will provide an evening of unforgettable music and fun that’s appropriate for all ages.

Each year, more than 4 million people in over twenty countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay for Life movement. Edison Community College is a proud participant of the Miami County Relay for Life event being held May 2, 2014.
