Two Ejected from Motorcycle in Sunday Afternoon Accident

Greenville - On April 13, 2014 at 2:55 p.m. Darke County Deputies, along with New Madison Fire and Arcanum Rescue. were dispatched to McNutt Rd. just east of US127 reference to an injury accident involving a motorcycle.

Preliminary investigation revealed that a 2010 Harley Davidson, driven by Ray Homsi (52) of Clayton, was heading southeast on McNutt Rd. when he tried to negotiate a curve and lost control of his motorcycle in some loose gravel. Homsi went off the right side of the roadway and struck a mailbox. Homsi and his passenger, Michelle Homsi (49) of Clayton, were both ejected from the motorcycle. Ray and Michelle were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

Both Ray and Michelle Homsi were treated by Arcanum Rescue and were transported to Wayne Hospital where they are in stable condition.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
